Marvel Studios Reveals First Look At Eternals, Captain Marvel 2, and Black Panther 2 Titles

A new trailer for Marvel Studios’ Phase 4 movie has been released. They have released a video that shows the different installments within the first stage of the franchise. They include Black Widow, Shang-Chi, and The Legend of the Ten Rings. The studio has also revealed the first look of Eternals as well as the official titles of Captain Marvel 2 and Black Panther 2. Lastly, the studio announced The Fantastic Four would be directed by Jon Watts, the same Director behind the Spider-Man trilogy withTom Holland.

The video, titled Marvel Studios Celebrates Cinema, recalls some of its franchise’s most memorable moments and then shows what Marvel Studios has planned for the next few years.

Black Widow

On July 9, Black Widow will be available on Disney+ (via Premium Access ). Director Cate Shortland directs this prequel film about Natasha Romanoff and stars Scarlett Johansson, Florence Pugh, David Harbor, and Rachel Weisz as the Avenger, Melina Vostokoff, and Alexei Shostakov. Simu Liu plays a new character in Destin Daniel Cretton’s Shang-Chi and the Legend of the Ten Rings. This film release on September 3. The Star Wars movie stars Awkwafina and Tony Leung.

The Marvel Cinematic Universe Phase 4 film Eternals is one of the most ambitious of them all. The Director of this film is Chlo√© Zhao, winner of the Oscar for Best Director for Nomadland. Despite the absence of a trailer, the Marvel Studios video has revealed the first look at the film’s characters. The cast consists of Angelina Jolie as Thena, Richard Madden as Ikaris, Salma Hayek as Ajak, Kumail Nanjiani as Kingo, Dong-Seok Ma as Gilgamesh, Lauren Ridloff as Makkari, Brian Tyree Henry as Phaistos, Kit Harington as Dane Whitman / Black Knight, Gemma Chan as Sergei, Lia McHugh as Sprite, and Barry Keoghan as Drug.

Captain Marvel 2 and Black Panther 2

Captain Marvel 2 and Black Panther 2 will follow up on T’Challa’s solo film. Which will be titled Black Panther: Wakanda Forever, with Ryan Coogler running the show again. It is unlikely that Chadwick Boseman play the King of Wakanda, will be replaced by another actor in Captain Marvel 2, which is titled The Marvels. Nia DaCosta will reteam Brie Larson with Iman Vellani as Kamala Khan / Ms. Marvel, who previously starred in the Ms. Marvel series and Teyonah Parris with Monica Rambeau. The Scarlet Witch gained her powers during the events of the Vision.

As for release dates, Spider-Man: No Way Home will hit theaters on December 17, Doctor Strange In The Multiverse Of Madness on March 25, 2022, Thor: Love and Thunder on May 6, 2022, Black Panther: Wakanda Forever on July 8, 2022, The Marvels on November 11, 2022, Ant-Man and the Wasp: Quantumania on February 17, 2023, and Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3  on May 5, 2023.

Finally, Marvel Studios has not yet set a release date for The Fantastic Four. He has only advanced that it is one of his future projects with the film’s logo.
