Kareena Kapoor is an Indian Film Actress born on 21 September 1980 (age 40) Bombay, Maharashtra, India, into the Kapoor's family. She is the daughter of actor Randhir Kapoor and Babita and the younger sister of actress Karisma Kapoor. She is one of the most famous actresses of Bollywood and highest-paid actress.
Kareena is the paternal granddaughter of Raj Kapoor, an actor and filmmaker, and the great-granddaughter of Prithviraj Kapoor. Her uncle is the actor Rishi Kapoor, and her cousin is his sibling, the actor Ranbir Kapoor. The name 'Kareena' was derived, from the book Anna Karenina, which her mother read when she was pregnant with her. She is of Punjabi origin on her dad's side, and she is of Sindhi and British extraction on her mother's side.
Kareena Kapoor Career:
Refugee, which was released in 2000 in which she appeared with Abhishek Bachchan, was Kareena Kapoor's debut film. While Kareena Kapoor was massively applauded for her outstanding skills in playing the role of a Pakistani girl, the film was a megahit. She was awarded the Lux Face of the Year Zee Cine Award and the Filmfare Best Debut Award for the film Refugee. Mujhe Kuch Kehna Hai, her next release, turned out to be a mega-hit.
